Small Reunion
Remember when we used to wear uniforms? The times when we were still young -not that we're now old or something-
Remember how we made promises to remember each other, to always keep in touch and to still hang out together every once in a while eventhough we're not in the same school or univ. anymore?
And then when we do meet again after several years or even more -some people thought several years is too short to miss someone- don't you just love the warm feeling we share? All those laughs we have by sharing funny stories and personal experiences.
Some of us has even got married and have babies, whilst some other haven't even graduated yet.
Whichever you are, that's fine because what matter is that you're together again.
Do you even have any clue how difficult it is to find the perfect time to gather even 5 people at the same time although you're all living in the same town/ city.
Sometimes I think that perfect time is when a friend who study overseas -anak impor, I use to call him/her- came back home.
People actually spare some time -voluntarily- just to be able to spend a night or so with that "anak impor"
Yesterday could be one of that day I was talking about.
About 20 people or so from the class of '98 went to see a movie together, sponsored by one "anak impor" named Jimmy Gunawan. Appointment had been made the previous week, and was confirmed about 2 or 3 days ago. It was more or less like this: "final confirmation. Kungfu Hustle. Ciwalk 19.45 p.m. boleh bawa gf/bf/tmn biasa. Ga lebih dari 20 orang"
it was just a movie, you know, but still ... the warm feeling I mentioned earlier filled the air. Fun. We should definitely do this kind of reunion again. It could be different ,though. BBQ maybe? Spend a night together in a villa maybe? Who knows!!!
